Welcome to the website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Gamma Rho Omega Chapter. We are delighted to have you visit and learn more about our Sorority and the great work our chapter continues to do in Jacksonville, Florida and the surrounding communities. This is the growing season for GRO to Soar to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood.
2023 is a new beginning and there is great anticipation as we move into this new season of GRO’s history. We have deep roots in the community that span over 80 years and we have engaged in transformative service that has improved and enriched lives throughout the Jacksonville community.
As we continue to Strengthen Our Sisterhood, our program focus for 2022 - 2026 includes five initiatives:

Gamma Rho Omega Chapter meetings are open to members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.
Chapter meetings are held the third Saturday of each month (except July and August) at 11:00 a.m. Business attire is required for all chapter meetings, unless otherwise noted.
New Member Orientation is also held once per quarter at 9:00 a.m. prior to chapter meeting.
Visiting Sorors should contact the Membership Committee Chairman for more information.
Appropriate membership documentation must be submitted prior to admittance.
Forms of acceptable identification include:

Current or expired financial card

Official certificate of sorority membership

Transfer verification form from respective chapter with required signatures

An Ivy Leaf® magazine showing the member’s financial card number and address label attached.
